FIT 4 KIDZ Boot Camp (after-school enrichment)

A boot camp for kids to work their muscles and stimulate their brains.  Studies show that walking or running will increase blood flow to the brain. I have developed a program where your child will be physically active and mentally energized by presenting them with combinations of exercises that will increase their heart rate and make them THINK about what they are doing! They will work toward heightened metabolism and better sleep. Regardless of your child’s current physical condition, we can help them achieve his or her fitness goals.
We can’t tell you how excited we are to be offering this boot camp for kids!  Let’s introduce our kids to a healthy fitness lifestyle in a safe, fun, non-competitive way.

A boot camp for kids to work their muscles and stimulate their brains.  Studies show that walking or running will increase blood flow to the brain.  Now Imagine firing up those synapses before they hit the books!  I have developed a program where they will be physically active and mentally prepared for their school day by presenting them with combinations of exercises that will increase their heart rate and make them THINK about what they are doing!  We can’t tell you how excited we are to be offering this boot camp for kids!  Let’s introduce our kids to a healthy fitness lifestyle in a safe, fun, non-competitive way.

FIT 4 KIDZ: GOTTA RUN!

This program is designed to encourage movement and energy release in a fun and active way.  The 8 week program is known for its valuable lessons in endurance, agility, speed, flexibility, team work, and core conditioning. FIT 4 KIDZ GOTTA RUN! is an after school enrichment program offered by Cordaro Fitness, LLC  and aimed at strengthening children in body and spirit. Our mission is to guide your children to learn the power of running through basic agility drills, obstacle courses, group runs and stories shared by avid runners.  We will equip them with injury preventative stretches to add value to their running experience.   Each week they will log their laps on a map leading to a collective number of miles as a group.  The group is striving to complete roughly 100-300 miles in 8 weeks.  We welcome all levels of runners or non-runners.   Let us share our love of running with them.

BOYS GOTTA RUN!

A running program design for boys encouraging integrity, teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, honesty and caring. Each week is dedicated to one of these fundamentals. They will complete the session with a 5K run.slide2

FIT 4 KIDZ All-Sportz:

FIT 4 KIDZ: All Sportz introduces your child to a variety of sports allowing each sport 2 weeks per unit (4 units per session). Students learn basic rules and skills of the sports (i.e. lacrosse, soccer, kick ball, ping pong, volleyball, softball, Frisbee golf, putt putt golf, hockey, football, etc) while encompassing teamwork, responsibility, & good sportsmanship.  Children will also accomplish challenging obstacle courses each week with jumping, lateral movement, sprinting & agility drills.Offered by Cordaro Fit (R) and their certified Instructors, FIT 4 KIDZ’s mission is to “To provide children the fundamentals of fitness that help cultivate a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.” We instill 4 main fitness objectives: Teamwork & Friendship, Flexibility & Balance, Speed & Strength, and Proper Nutrition. It’s a super fun class and the kids sweat!

FIT 4 KIDZ Yoga:

This program is designed to encourage movement and energy release in a fun and active way.  The 8 week program is known for its valuable lessons in strength, flexibility, creativity, stress relief and for its educational nature.  We love the engaging storytelling format and the playful nature of our Yoga instructor.  Your children will learn poses that they will want to use at home.  This is a program that can be done indoors or out, with no additional equipment, and can supplement a child’s physical fitness regimen, while encouraging play and imagination.

We have a fun, creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.

Kids will improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help to release energy in a fun, safe environment. Using interactive games and animated postures, kids learn about animals, nature and basic anatomy through playing yoga.

The F4K Yoga program also promotes inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem; a feeling of well-being and respect for others; and, love for one’s self, inside and out.

FIT 4 KIDZ LAX (Beginner Lacrosse)

Lacrosse will be introduced to your child, giving them a basic understanding of the sport and its equipment.) The program is designed to encourage movement and energy release in a fun, active& non-competitive way.  The developmental program is broken down into 4 units, each unit focusing on one key LAX fundamental: Your STICK; Carry, Scoop; Catch; Shoot, Throw, Feed; and Fast Breaks.  The class starts out with an instant activity to get them moving the moment they start the class, continued by injury preventative stretching and agility drills.

 

FIT 4 KIDZ LAX II (Intermediate Lacrosse):

With the use of full Lacrosse Equipment, this 5 day summer program is designed to take your child’s current lacrosse skill to the next level focusing on technique, game rules and strategy.  Prerequisite:  must have played club Lacrosse for at least one season and have equipment.  6 -12 years old
