What: Kids Boot Camp
Where: Arlington Elementary School near Ballston
When: Fridays 2/5/16 – 3/18/16
Duration: 1 hour Fridays for 6 weeks
Who: 12 children grades K-5
Pay: worth your while
Description: Run much like an adult boot camp. Children will jump, perform pushups and burpees, squats, lunges, sprints, agility ladder drills and play games.
Adults like them, so why not offer them to children? A boot camp for kids to work their muscles and stimulate their brains. Studies show that walking or running will increase blood flow to the brain. I have developed a program where children will be physically active and mentally energized by presenting them with combinations of exercises that will increase their heart rate and make them THINK about what they’re doing! They will work toward heightened metabolism and better sleep. Regardless of their current physical condition, we can help them achieve his or her fitness goals.
Minimum Qualifications: Experience working with young children in a leadership role.Must enjoy working with children.
Comfortable working autonomously.
Comfortable communicating with parents /adults.
Reliable. Timely. Professional.
Must have own transportation and ability to transport light equipment.
Must have fun!
Preferred Qualifications: All of the above. Plus Certifications in First Aid / CPR.
