Amy graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2000 where she earned a BS in Meteorology. She continued her education in the Air Force and graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration in 2006. After serving on active duty as a helicopter pilot for almost 8 years, she followed her passion for fitness by become an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. This has allowed Amy the opportunity to stay at home with her three beautiful children and follower her amazing husband around the world as he continues to serve our country in the Air Force.
In addition to her love of teaching others, Amy also owns her own business helping others improve their health by eating more fruits and vegetables (www.juiceplusamy.com). She also is a Reservist in the Air Force and continues to serve her country part time. In addition, Amy serves as a board member for a non-profit organization that provides healthy eating and exercise programs for military spouses around the world! She is also a certified wellness educator and teaches workshops on healthy eating around the country.
In her spare time, Amy loves to workout, spend time with her family and travel. She plans on running a half marathon in every state in the nation with her husband Jay. She also recently started competing in Triathlons and has finished a Half Ironman and Olympic Distance Triathlon in the last few months.
Amy is excited to be a part of the COR FIT team and looking forward to making a difference in lives of others!
