Sheila Cordaro is addicted to fitness.

She founded her first fitness company in 2006 and renamed it in 2013 to Cordaro Fit, LLC, otherwise known as COR FIT.  Through years of training for marathons, triathlons, obstacle course races and Ragnar Relays, she realized her passion went deeper than keeping herself fit.  She created a fitness program dedicated to people who are serious about a healthy lifestyle.

Sheila is a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Trainer and Children’s Fitness Specialist, who earned certifications through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and APFA (American Fitness Professionals & Associates). She also earned her Certification in Basic Counseling of Health and Nutrition to provide her clients even more insight to achieve their fitness goals.  As an Ambassador for #lululemon athletica and Athleta  she has lead classes in both the Georgetown and Clarendon Stores. Sheila was featured on the cover of Arlington Magazine (August 2012) and in the article “HARD CORE”.   Voted Best “Personal Trainer” by the readers of Arlington Magazine and readers of the Sun Gazette, it’s no telling what her next feat will be!

FIT 4 KIDZ, LLC, founded and developed by Sheila in 2010, is an after-school enrichment program aspiring to provide children with the fundamentals of fitness that help to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. Sheila is an Upstate New York native and SUNY Oswego graduate. While at Oswego, she was committed to fitness, serving as Captain of the Oswego Lakers Cheerleading Team, Fitness & Activities coordinator for a Senior Center, and an aerobics instructor. Sheila’s background is in Consulting and Recruiting where she worked for Kelly Services, Positions Inc., and Shay Consulting Group. Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for physical fitness led her to starting her own fitness company.  No two sessions are the same and her clients receive focused training. Utilizing the environment, music, and the help of portable fitness equipment, Sheila keeps the workout fun and stimulating. She delivers supreme service to her clients utilizing distinctive techniques and outstanding customer service.  She is dedicated to her clients in helping them reach their personal fitness goals and her clients are equally dedicated to Cordaro Fit (COR FIT).

When not in training, Sheila also enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter (13) and son (11), competing in Marathons, Triathlons, Ragnar Relays (Ultra!), obstacle course runs, water-skiing, wake-boarding, snow-skiing and, just enjoying a run with her early morning run club.
